Who we are

Peak Horizon LLC (“Peak Horizon,” “we,” “us”) operates a private car rental fleet serving the greater Los Angeles area, based at 13448 Crewe St, Van Nuys, CA 91405. This policy explains what information we collect through Peak Horizon’s website and booking process, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to peakhorizonla.com and to information collected when you request a quote, submit a booking inquiry, or reserve a vehicle.

Information we collect

When you request a quote or submit a booking inquiry, we collect:

• Your first and last name, email address, and phone number
• Pickup and return dates, delivery location, and the vehicle you’re interested in
• Any notes or details you choose to include with your inquiry

If you complete a reservation, our booking partner Wheelbase collects additional information directly from you — including driver’s license, payment, and (where applicable) insurance details — under its own privacy terms, which are presented to you during checkout. Peak Horizon does not store your full payment card details.

We also automatically collect standard technical information when you visit the site — pages viewed, referring URL, approximate location, device and browser type, and interaction events — through the analytics and advertising tools described below.

Cookies & tracking technologies

Depending on which tools are active at any given time, this site may use Google Analytics and Google Ads (for site measurement and ad performance), the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API, and the TikTok Pixel. These tools use cookies, similar technologies, and — for ad-conversion matching — a one-way cryptographic hash of your email address, to measure how visitors find and use the site and to measure the performance of our advertising. We also capture UTM parameters (campaign source/medium tags in the URL) to understand which marketing efforts drove a visit.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance or your Google, Meta, and TikTok ad-settings pages directly.

How we use your information

• To respond to quote requests and booking inquiries, and to coordinate delivery/pickup
• To process reservations through Wheelbase and verify insurance eligibility where required
• To send booking-related communications (confirmations, delivery coordination, receipts)
• To measure and improve site performance and the effectiveness of our advertising
• To meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations

We do not sell your personal information to data brokers.

Who we share information with

• Wheelbase — our booking and payment platform, for completed reservations
• Our insurance broker partner — only if you choose broker-provided coverage at booking, to run standard driver-record screening
• Google, Meta, and TikTok — limited data (such as a hashed email or device identifier) for advertising measurement, as described above
• Service providers we use to run the business (e.g. email delivery, hosting), bound to use data only to provide their service to us
• Law enforcement or legal process — if required to comply with the law, or to protect the safety of renters, drivers, or the public

Data retention

We retain inquiry and reservation information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes above, resolve disputes, and meet tax and legal recordkeeping requirements, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop using it for marketing, by emailing peakhorizonla@gmail.com. California residents have specific rights under state privacy law (including the right to know what personal information is collected and to request deletion); contact us at the email above to exercise them and we will respond within a reasonable time. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

Peak Horizon’s services are directed at adults — every renter must meet our minimum driver-age requirements. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the tools we use change. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
